Today, Jinrui Bearing will share with you the application of stainless steel in bearings. Compared with ordinary bearings, stainless steel bearings not only have obvious advantages in materials but also are much stricter in process and precision control than ordinary bearings. Stainless steel bearings are acid and alkali resistant, corrosion resistant, and have their own unique performance. They can adapt to the environment widely, such as working in corrosive media environments such as sea water, river water, distilled water, dilute nitric acid, marine climate, steam, etc. In particular, they have temperature resistance and can be used in the operating temperature range of -253'℃~350℃. Stainless steel bearings are widely used in medical equipment, cryogenic engineering, optical instruments, high-speed machine tools, high-speed motors, printing machinery, food processing, and other fields due to their high mechanical strength, large load-bearing capacity and low noise. 

The materials used for stainless steel bearings are mainly: 201 stainless steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, 420 stainless steel, 440 stainless steel series, among which 440C stainless steel is the most common, mainly used to manufacture bearing parts that work in corrosive environments and non-lubricated strong oxidizing atmospheres.Bearings have their unique advantages:

1. Excellent corrosion resistance: Stainless steel bearings are not easy to rust and have strong corrosion resistance.

2. Washable: Stainless steel bearings can be washed without re-lubricating.

3. Can run in liquid: Due to the stainless steel material used, bearings and bearing seats can run in liquid.

4. Slower drying speed: Stainless steel does not require oil or grease corrosion protection, so no lubricating oil is required under low speed and load conditions.

5. Easy to clean: The surface of stainless steel is easy to clean.

6. High heat resistance: Stainless steel bearings are equipped with high-temperature polymer cages or cages without a complete fill structure, and can operate at higher temperatures ranging from 82°C to 350°C. (High-temperature resistant grease is required).
